Do you want to marry in the same place you honeymoon?

Today destination weddings are growing more popular. If you marry in a hotel away from home either alone or with a few friends or family members it can save a significant sum of money. And another advantage is that when you honeymoon in the same hotel, you do not need to pack after the wedding or hurry to the airport.

Decide whether you want to go around the corner or around the world.

Find out how long your honeymoon can be and arrive at a general budget. And that will define how far you can go.

Decide whether you want to save or splurge.
As it is your trip of a lifetime so it’s the best time to pamper yourself with luxury rooms and memorable activities if you can afford it.

Talk over whether you want sunshine or show.

Find out what climate you like best and pick your destination accordingly. If you like to ski you may marry in the summer and honeymoon in South America. And if you marry in winter, but prefer to lie in the sun, you may choose from a variety of beach destinations around the world.

Discuss whether you want to learn something new and enjoy it together.

You may combine your honeymoon with a golf, ski or sailing school or a tennis camp and train a sport that you may relish together for the rest of your lives.

Talk over what you honeymoon you want: a cruise, a honeymoon package, an all inclusive resort or a trip tailored just for the two of us.

All these options have advantages. But try to decide which one will match your dreams. It is rather easy to head for cruise for a honeymoon. The liner is your floating hotel and meals and most onboard activities are included. If you decide to cruise, find out more about the preferred cruise line, ask about the tables for two in the dining room and diverse categories of state rooms. Look through all the brochures and if you have any particular port of call that you want to visit, make sure that the ship will be there long enough to explore it.

Think over honeymoon packages, available from hotels, airlines and tour wholesalers, which are designed with romance in mind. Such offers often include special perks that other packages do not. So when you book a hotel, ask if there are unique honeymoon packages.

You may also head for the all inclusive resorts that include most meals, sports equipment and tips. Several comprise all liquor and bar charges as well as other special activities. You should read more about the resort you are heading to or ask your travel agent to clarify what exactly is included in the cost. Round trip airfare is also included in some packages.

If your vacation destination need a trip tailored to your wishes and pace, you should discuss with a travel agent and make sure that everything you dreamed of is included in.
