The area of North Miami has a great contemporary American restaurant with North One 10. The cream-colored room is rather cozy. But the cuisine of chef-owner Dewey LoSasso is really incredible. The stress is made on fresh, seasonal, local ingredients prepared with acumen and verve, the result being knockout dishes such as foie gras nestled in a donut peach; mahogany-skinned duck with figs, Gorgonzola and orange-lavender sauce; and grilled branzino with tomato butter and leek fondue. You may see that the menu changes all the time but there's always something alluring to try. The wine list is categorized by flavor characteristics, with many offerings of unique boutique vintners available by the glass. The front of the house is run by Dewey's wife Dale with aplomb, her waitstaff smart and smooth.
