Bellagio

Las Vegas is considered to be one of the most romantic cities in the world. Vegas's blend of thrill, risk and money is powerful enough to excite nearly anybody. You will enjoy everything, whether it's the excitement of the casinos, the night-time hum of the Strip, the splendor of the sundown and even the fact that you may get married immediately.

Due to the foundation of hotels like the Bellagio, a place that highlights the appeal of its restaurants and Broadway-style shows, Vegas became one of the most popular destination even for non-gamblers. It was opened in 1999, and there is no neon anywhere at the hotel. The place is both romantic and stunning, with expansive groomed gardens, limestone terraces, 6 pools and a glass-covered botanical garden.

Rooms start at $159.

Blacktjkhorne Inn

Blackthorne Inn is a very elegant alternative to Napa. It is built around a number of odorous bay trees, the Inn provides a rural but comfortable atmosphere in a secluded place. The inn is located just in one hour north of San Francisco in the Point Reyes Peninsula, this little, unusual spot is built like an exotic tree-house village, with trap doors, spiral staircases and narrow pathways. The Blackthorne has only four guest rooms and the most exceptional is the Eagle's Nest that is a glass-enclosed, octagonal bedroom hovering high above the trees. Visitors of the Eagle's Nest relish two roof decks and an after-hours Jacuzzi that is available via the "Sky Bridge", a narrow wooden path. It also has a trap staircase that leads to the Inn's dining room, where you can take owner Susan Wigert's domestic breakfast frittatas, granola and yogurt to your room. You may even have someone else do it for you.

Rates start at $225 but vary for each room.

Four Seasons Prague

If you are in search of the unforgettable weekend, pack up and head to Prague, one of the world's most romantic cities. Prague is often referred to as "the Paris of the east". Prague is just as beautiful as the City of Lights with its cobbled streets, gothic architecture and buildings that are lit from below. And great plus of the city is that it is much less expensive that the real Paris. The Four Seasons is a great place to stay in the "city of a hundred spires". The hotel linked together five Baroque and neo-Renaissance buildings in Stare Mesto (Old Town). Although it looks like the 18th-century from outside, it's absolutely the 21st inside. Chic rooms are the best in the city with marble baths and a design that mixes modern with classic. You may book a room with a view of Prague's Castle (one room has floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the castle) or a view of the Vltava River that twists through the city.

Room rates start at $195.
