Amandari
It is a small hotel in Bali which called after the Sanskrit word for "the place of peaceful spirits," and the Amandari fully corresponds its name. This resort is enclosed by terraced rice paddies with a view of the dazzling Indian Ocean Perched over a gorge above the Ayung River. Its 29 villas were constructed in traditional Balinese style - each has a thatched roof, and is made of teak wood and volcanic stone. Each of the cottages has a private courtyard, and every bathroom leads to another court with a marble sunken bath. The resort has a dark, green-tiled pool that merges with the rice paddy scenery.
